Elderberry and Honey Switchel

Our Grandfather Milton O Schilde was a firm believer in the healing properties of Apple Cider Vinegar and honey. He took the tonic faithfully every day! We have carried on this tradition of all natural cider vinegar that we make on the farm. We have created our own version by infusing the vinegar with berries and then adding the raw honey to create a fabulous mixture for our daily switchel drink.

This can be consumed warm in the winter as a hot tea and iced in the summer as a refreshing drink over crushed ice.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 2 Tbs Sharon Springs Farm Girl Elderberry Honey and vinegar
  • 1 cup of water (still or carbonated)

DIRECTIONS

  • Stir together and enjoy!
