Tangy Fresh Fall Coleslaw with Apples and Cranberries

 

In a medium size bowl mix together the following:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons of Farm Girl Black Current and Honey Vinegar
  • (or for a more tart version try Farm Girl Black Current Apple Cider Vinegar)                                                                                               
  • ½ teaspoon of celery seed
  • ½ teaspoon of mustard powder
  • Whisk together to make the dressing  

 

In a large bowl, combine:

  • 6 cups of fresh shredded cabbage
  • 1cup of fresh shredded red cabbage
  • 3 cups of fresh shredded carrots
  • 1 cup of freshly chopped Gala apples  (or your favorite variety)
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • Toss together and add dressing
  • Chill and serve

Makes 10 to 12 servings
